Highly recommend the torque head or EFIconection swap. The software for the early obd2 cars isn't great and same goes for options for scanners.The black 24x crank sensors are 12V (LS1 gen3) and the light colored 58x crank sensors are 5V (LS3 gen4). You can get a black front mount cam sensor and use it with a 12V LS1 harness. An '05/'06 LS2 truck engine uses a 24x crank sensor and a 1x front mount cam sensor. They did this for two years only.
